PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Catherine Ordoñez’s practice includes civil rights, constitutional law, and employment

discrimination. Prior to joining Killmer, Lane & Newman, Cat clerked for the Honorable Christine

M. Arguello on the United States District Court for the District of Colorado. Before clerking, Cat

worked as a legal fellow at Towards Justice, where she litigated wage-and-hour and forced labor

class actions and engaged in state-level policy advocacy to strengthen protections for workers.

EDUCATION 

 

Cat obtained her Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School, where she worked as a student attorney in the Harvard Legal Aid Bureau and Harvard Defenders. She received her undergraduate degrees in English and Public Relations from the University of Florida, where she graduated with honors.

BAR ADMISSIONS 

 

Cat is admitted to practice law in the State of Colorado, the United States District Court for the District of Colorado, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.
